Firewall Software
How secure is your computer from hackers and data thieves?

Any computer connected to the Internet is a potential target.
Hackers are constantly probing the Internet to find unprotected
computers. Once found, a hacker can compromise your computer
with spyware or viruses.
Hackers can also access your computer to retrieve your
personal information.

A firewall can prevent spyware programs from transmitting
your personal information over the Internet by blocking
outgoing network traffic.

The most effective way to prevent hackers and data thieves
from accessing your computer is by using a firewall.
Unfortunately, the firewall built into Windows XP does not
block outgoing network traffic.
What Is A Firewall?
A firewall is a piece of software or hardware that filters all
network traffic between your computer and the Internet. A
firewall keeps your Internet connection as secure as
possible by inspecting and then approving or rejecting
each connection attempt made between your computer
and the Internet based on the rules you have defined.

Network Repair 1can install and setup firewall software
that blocks both incoming and outgoing Internet traffic.
